Mood Board

My mood board is a collection of images, artists, films, places and festivals that have inspired the type of genre for our music video. The films that i have included are Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stuck in Love and Paper Towns this is because these coming of age films have an alternative song track for their films. The films are aimed at the youth and similarly that is who we would typically aim our music video towards, so it is important to use a song that are target audience would enjoy. Both Reading festival and Truck festival attract a large amount of teenagers, so selecting a song from an artist who has performed there would attract our target specific audience. Other images in my mood board show images of the types of people who would listen to the alternative genre of music. Our music video should reflect these people therefore it will be more relatable and engaging. The artists i have included on my mood board are, Kodaline, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Ed sheeran and mikky Ekko. They have all released alternative music that are largely listened to by young adults and teenagers.
